Developed by Pixel Research Labs, Ringer
is a Mac application for creating ringtones and adding specific effects to the output. The ringtone can be transferred to iPhone devices.
Via the drag and drop of Mac, importing files to the program is made simple. It supports almost all audio and video files formats including MP3, MP4 and M4V. Those that are opened and read by QuickTime are also supported.
So as to ease its handling, the added file can be played directly on this program and during that, displayed in waveform. This is greatly facilitating the user's task to find the spot they look for and the exact point where the sound stops.
Once selected, the ringtone can be played on Ringer
and some effects such as fade in and fade out can be applied to it. Another option helps to adjust the volume of the output which can be done automatically or manually.
- Ringer can import files from iTunes library.
- Synchronization with iPhone is feasible.
- For this trial version, an audio watermark can be found at the beginning of created ringtones.
