iTunes is a free digital media player that is used to play, download, and organize audio, video, and image files. The application is widely used to organize and listen to media files stored in a user's library and also facilitates the easy transfer of media files between connected devices.

All iTunes users are given access to the iTunes Store, which is a digital database of music, music videos, television shows, movies, audiobooks, and podcasts. Any downloads made from the iTunes Store are directly saved to a user's iTunes library and may be automatically synced with any other devices on which the account is registered.

Use of iTunes for Mac requires OS X version 10.8.5 or later.
