Windows 7 - A shortcut to clear the clipboard

To create a shortcut to clear the contents of the clipboard:
  • On an empty place of the desktop > Right-Click > New > Shortcut
  • In the field named "Type location of the item" enter the following:
  • C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c "echo off | clip"
  • Click on Next
  • Give a name to the shortcut (Clear Clipboard)
  • Validate with the OK button.
