[Samsung Kies] Samsung phone not detected


Issue


Kies isn't detecting my Samsung Monte phone, what can be done?

Solution


First connect your Device via USB cable to your computer.
  • On the phone screen tap on "Samsung Kies"
  • Open Samsung Kies > click on the "Kies" menu (top-left) > Driver Recovery


  • Launch the procedure (internet connection required and note that this procedure can't be cancelled)

  • Once completed > disconnect and reconnect your Samsung phone and once again, for connectivity type choose "Samsung Kies"
  • In the kies interface you'll noticed a small notifaction "Connecting the Device...Please wait"

The first initialization process may take some time, but don't worry.
  • As result once the phone is sync, a new menu will be available.
