Reading subtitles

July 2017

For some films(DVD), substitles are found under another file usually with the extension Srt. Ssa or. Sub.

The most efficient and easiest way to read subtitles is to rename the subtitle extension file as the video file and play the multimedia video with a very efficient multimedia player like VLC media player.

It is also to possible to read the subtitles with Windows Media Player but is however much more complicated. You will be therefore recommended to install a codec or third party software like:

DirectVobSub
