Print Friendly: Perform selective printing from a webpage

You just read an article on the Internet and you want to print it, but you do not see any dedicated button on the page? Of course you can choose to print the entire page, which will also include many undesirable elements (ads, inserts various). But if you want to print a particular section of a web page (e.g an article), Print Friendly is what you need.

The advantage of this website is that it is extremely easy to use. Besides the opportunity to make "selective printing", it also allows you to configure your page layout and then create a PDF or print it directly. The idea is to save ink and paper by printing only the essential items. Here is the interface of the home page:
  • To use this online service, first enter the URL of the webpage and hit the "print preview" button.
  • Wait for the "Print-Friendly Page" to be generated:

Using Print Preview interface

The Print Preview interface toolbar consist of several options.
  • Print : Print a copy using the printer connected to your PC
  • PDF: Generates a .pdf files , based on the items displayed in the Print Preview window
  • Email: Sent preview to an email address.
  • Text: Select text size
  • no images : remove images from document.
  • Undo: undo last modification made

Note that: To remove part of the text, simply highlight it and perform a left click.
