The Nokia C3-01 offers users with the T9 or Text on 9 keys technology also known as the predictive text function that can complete a word when the user types the first few characters. This can prove to be handy when typing messages. Some users may find it difficult to use as the words completed may not be the ones they intended to write. The user therefore has to erase the word written by the predictive text input and may not want to use the functionality offered by T9. To disable T9 or the predictive text function in the Nokia C3-01, the settings must be turned off from the Options menu when writing messages.
To disable the predictive text function under the Nokia C3-01:
- While typing a message
- Press on the Options menu > Predictions > Off
- Press on the Back key
