Google +: Transfer your circles from one account to another via Takeout

September 2017

On Google +, it is now possible to export the circles that you have created on a particular account, including the connections and preferences to a new Gmail account through Google Takeout.

"Some time ago, we announced that we are developping a tool for transferring circles from one Google Account to another, thus allowing the automatic redirection of contacts to the new profile," said Ronald Ho, product manager of Google +, in a post on official blog. Now this action can be performed using Google Takeout.

The operation itself takes 48 hours to be effective and you must register on a waiting list to access this feature.

It is impossible to export the data outside Google's social network but Takeout allows the transfer of +1, contacts, profile and feeds, which is already more than what is offered by other networks like Facebook and Twitter.
