How to remove the Lollipop adware?

Lollipop is a adware is distributed via the PlayerPlus app on video streaming websites.

Removal procedure:

Step 1

For Windows Vista/7/8: Open Control Panel > Programs and Features, uninstall entries that contain the word: "Lollipop". For Windows XP: Open Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, uninstall entries containing the word: "Lollipop". You also need to remove the related extensions added to Firefox or Google Chrome. Change your default search engine and set your homepage.

Step 2: AdwCleaner

AdwCleaner is a tool for disinfecting adwares. Download it, run it by clicking on Remove and wait for the analysis to end. A report will be generated once the removal is complete.

Step 3: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is an effective disinfection tool that can help to remove item left by AdwCleaner. Run it, upade with latest database and run a full scan. After the scan is complete, click "Show results". Select all infected items and click on "Remove Selected". Reboot the PC if prompted to.
