The SkyDrive Pro client is now available for download for the companies using SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online for Office 365.
SkyDrive Pro is the professional version of the collaborative tool from Microsoft, which allows you to store and share files online or on the SharePoint server of a business.
The SkyDrive Pro desktop application for Windows, which allows you to easily manage and synchronize files from a PC was previously integrated with different formulas of Office 2013 (Office 365 Pro Plus, Office 365 Small Business Premium and Office Professional Plus 2013). It is now available as a stand-alone client for SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online for Office 365 subscribers.
Note that: The dekstop version of SkyDrive Pro is compatible with earlier versions of the office suite (Office 2010, 20007), it also works independently of the fact that Office is installed on the PC.
