Windows cannot run Wireless Connection

August 2015

If the wireless network adapter is not configured correctly, it will keep throwing up an error stating that Windows cannot run wireless connection when trying to access the wireless network. The issue can arise if the wireless connection manager is proprietary software provided by the hardware manufacturer of the wireless hardware device instead of the Windows Wireless Zero Configuration service. If the problem cannot be solved by changing the settings in the proprietary software, Windows can be used to configure the wireless settings by starting the relevant service. Once the Windows Wireless Zero Configuration service starts, it can be used to configure the wireless connection settings and solve the Windows cannot run wireless connection error.
