October 2016

Google Now is an intelligent personal assistant for Android devices. Google Now displays relevant information to the user depending on his current location and time in the form of "cards". However, Google Now is a power hungry feature and you might want to disable it:
  • Open the Google Search
  • Tap on the Menu key > Settings
  • Slide the switch to the left to turn off "Google Now".
  • Check "Also turn off Location History" and validate.
