MacOSX - How create a desktop shortcut?

MacOSX allows you to create a desktop shortcut for your most used files, folders or your favorite apps.
The procedure is as follows:
  • Open the Finder and search for your file, folder or app.
  • Right-click on the item > Make Alias.
  • A new shortcut will be created, simply drag and drop it to your desktop.
