Mac OS X - How to Turn Off Location Services

This guide explains how to turn off location services on Mac OS X. By doing so you will prevent apps (Safari, Maps, Weather...) and websites from tracking your current location and delivering location sensitive information. Still want to disable this feature? The procedure is as follows:

Click on the Apple menu and go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy. Go to the Privacy section and clear the Enable Location Services checkbox:
