How to set Internet Explorer to open pop-up in new tabs

If you don't want to manage multiple browser windows, you configure Internet Explorer, to automatically open pop-ups in a new tab.

How to set Internet Explorer always to open pop-up windows in a new tab?

• Open Internet Explorer, click the Settings icon in the upper right corner and select Internet options.
• Click Tabs under the General tab.
• In the Tabbed Browsing Settings window, select Always open pop-ups in a new tab under When a pop-up is encountered.
• Click Ok.
