iOS - How to disable the parallax effect

You may have noticed the 3D effect (depth perception) on the interface (icons, alerts, wallpaper..) of your iPhone or iPad. iOS makes use of a parallax effect to produce astonishing visuals.
If you prioritize battery life over fancy visuals, here's how to disable/reduce this effect:
  • Go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
  • Toggle "Reduce Motion" On.
