If you are experiencing slowdowns and/or crashes, or if your peripherals have stopped working, you can try removing some of your Windows updates to get your computer working normally again.
Remove Windows 8 Updates
Open the Control Panel
and select Programs and features
. In the left pane, click on View installed updates
A list of all installed updates will be displayed. Right-click on the faulty update and select Uninstall
