Windows 8.1 - Enable/disable the display of Windows Store apps on the taskbar



To disable this display of Windows Store apps on the taskbar of Windows 8.1, follow the below procedure:
  • Open the Charms bar (Windows key + C) > Settings.
  • Click on Change PC Settings > PC and devices.
  • Go to the "Corners and edges" section.
  • Enable or disable: "Show Windows Store apps on the taskbar".
