Google Chrome - Where are the extensions stored?



You can enrich the features of Google Chrome via add-ons and extensions. Upon installation these extensions are placed in a specific folder on your hard drive.
In this article you will learn how to locate this folder:

Instructions:
Press [Windows] + [E] to open the Windows Explorer.
Click on View > Options
  • Check "Show hidden files, folders, or drives".
  • Uncheck "Hide protected operating system files"
  • Click on OK.
  • You will find the extensions files in:
    • C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions
