Google Chrome - How to clear auto-opening settings
You can configure Google Chrome to automatically open certain type of files once they are downloaded. It can be achieved by clicking on the small arrow displayed next to the downloaded file > Always open files of this type.
- E.g automatically open .jpg files:
If you no longer want Google Chrome to auto-open your files, follow the below procedure:
- Click on "Customize and Control Google Chrome" menu > "Settings".
- Click on "+ Show advanced settings".
- Scroll to the Downloads section and click on "Clear auto-opening settings"
