Mac OS X - How to disable the translucent menu bar


You can configure Mac OS X to use an opaque menu bar (instead of a translucent one).
The procedure is as follows:
  • Right-click on an empty area of your screen > Change Desktop Background.
  • In the Desktop section, uncheck "Translucent menu bar".
