Mac OS X - Hide the Sleep, Restart and Shut Down buttons from the login screen


To remove the Sleep, Restart and Shut Down buttons from the login screen of Mac OS X, follow the below procedure:
  • From the Apple menu, go to System Preferences > Users & Groups.
  • Click on your Username > Login Options.
  • Click on the padlock icon and enter your password.
  • Uncheck "Show the Sleep, Restart, and Shut Down buttons".
