iOS - How to disable the transparency effects

By default iOS 8 applies a transparency effect to the Control Center, Notification center and Spotlight search menus. It some cases it can cause the readability issues, especially when using flashy wallpapers (text, shapes and colors overlapping).This tutorial intends to explain how to disable the transparency effect.
  • Go to Settings > General.
  • Tap on Accessibility > Increase Contrast.
  • Toggle the "Reduce Transparency" switch to "On".
