How to turn off WeChat notification sound?

How to turn off in-app sound and vibration on WeChat?
- Launch WeChat and go to the Me tab.
- Tap on Settings (cog icon).
- Tap on Message Notifications.
- Toggle the following options off:
- Sound.
- In-App Vibrate.
How to mute notifications for group chats?
If you'd like to turn off notifications for group chats, you can easily mute them.
- Login to WeChat and go to the selected chat.
- Next, click on Menu (three dots) in the upper right corner and select Mute Notifications.
You can follow the same steps for each chat you'd like to mute.
