What is Growth Hacking

Definition

The term Growth Hacking refers to all the marketing techniques used by a person, namely the Growth Hacker, to increase the sales of a product and/or the exposure of service. Most of the time, the growth hacks consist of:
  • Inciting users to invite other users (e.g visit the social profile of a brand or a product page).
  • Inciting users to share information (word of mouth) .

The aim is to trigger a viral effect.
The growth hacking was developed by startups in order to respond to the challenges encountered when promoting their products/services (on a budget)!
