Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge - Enable Notifications on the Edge screen

This tutorial explains how to enable notifications on the Edge screen of your Samsung Galaxy S6. You can indeed take advantage of the Edge screen to check for the presence of new messages, emails or miscalls without unlocking your smartphone. Additionally the Edge screen can also be used to monitor updates from your social accounts, news and information from other apps. To configure these settings:

Go to Apps > Settings > Edge Screen:

Tap on Select notifications:

From this menu you can enable Edge screen notifications for the Messages, Emails and Miscalls:

Go back to Edge Settings > More features and tap on Information stream. Toggle Information stream on and tap on Manage feeds:

Your different feeds are listed in this section (tap on a feed to display its name). To enable a feed simply tick the corresponding checkbox at the top. Swipe left and tap on Download feeds to get new ones:

The Briefing feed allows you to get notifications from the apps installed on your phone:

Tap on the cog icon and select the apps for which you want to receive notifications
