3Ds Max + Vray Studio Scene [Lighting Rendering Caustics]

In this tutorial; we're going to render a simple studio scene with simple lighting and caustic setting,
Using 3Ds Max 2015 + Vray 3.0

The basic setting for the scene:


Main Light:

Secondary Light:

Environment: Download any free HDRI image and use it.

Materials:

  • Ground object:

  • Pot complex material
    • main glass
    • Blend material for the logo

for the logo transparency we used an Alpha Channel in the logo.bmp bitmap
  • Main Glass
  • Logo Blend Material: using the Unrap UVW map Modifire, and Polygon ID

Render Settings:

Just the basics without any GI implemented
Enable Caustics
