's built-in Page Prediction
feature will speed up the loading of webpages by predicting where you will go next (based on your previous searches and browsing patterns) and pre-rendering the webpages in the background. However, if you are wary about privacy on the web, you can turn off page prediction in your browser settings.
How To Disable Page Prediction in Microsoft Edge
Open Microsoft Edge
and click on the More Actions
menu. Navigate to Settings
> Advanced Settings
> View advanced settings
and you'll find an option called Use page prediction to speed up browsing, improve reading, and make my overall experience better
. Make sure to turn this feature Off
