How To Uninstall SuperAntiSpyware

September 2017

SuperAntiSpyware is a fake anti-spyware software that aims to trick users into thinking that their system is infected and push them into buying a full, paid version of the software.

If you are struggling with pop-up messages from the software or have tried to uninstall SuperAntiSpyware from your computer without success, here is the proper method to permanently remove the software from your system.

How To Remove SuperAntiSpyware

Go to your Control Panel > Program and Features > Uninstall or change a program. Search for SuperAntiSpyware and select Uninstall.

The next step is to run a scan with AdwCleaner. This small and free utility can handle most of the known malware infections, which includes browser hijackers, adware, PUPs, and browser toolbars.

Install the program and run a scan. Once done, click Clean, and then restart your system. You can download the program here.

To be on the safe side, you should also run a scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. This program specializes in the removal of malware and rootkit infections. If there are any infectious files resulting from the removal of SuperAntiSpyware, then you can be sure that Malwarebytes Anti-Malware will find and delete them. Download the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware here.

Some malware has the ability to modify the registry or create entries in the Startup Menu (automatically launched when your system boots). You can use a program like RegSeeker to check for the presence of harmful programs and remove them. Download RegSeeker here.
