Windows Store Suggestions in Windows 10

Microsoft has started pushing suggestions to the Start menu of Windows 10. A Suggested section will occasionally appear in the Start menu, offering suggestions for Windows Store apps.

It's a good way for users to discover new apps, and developers to showcase their products across the Windows Store. But if you think otherwise, this guide will teach you how to opt out of Windows Store suggestions.


How To Opt Out of Windows Store Suggestions

From Windows 10’s Start Menu

Open the Start menu and right-click on the suggested app. Click on Don't show this suggestion to move to the next suggestion, or click on Turn off all suggestions to opt out of the service:

From Windows 10’s Settings Screen

Click on Start > Settings > Personalization > Start. Search for an option named as Occasionally show suggestions in Start and toggle it Off:
