What is Daemon Log?

December 2016

Many operating systems exist now and each has specific front end and back end programs with varying compatible troubleshooting features similar to Linux. Now, most people may not be aware of Daemon Log, but it's actually quite handy when using any operating system including Linux, Unix, Ubuntu and a few more. One can view The Daemon Log small application which displays the running system information to help users detect erroes and troubleshoot before they actually take place. Daemon Log is useful to have because this application diagnoses many configuration errors and daemon software issues as well. The log information will be displayed under /var/log/daemon.log.

A Daemon is a program running in the background of your operating system, ensuring better functioning of your os. The Daemon Log runs under /var/log/daemon.log and displays information about the running system and application daemons. This application enables you to detect and troubleshoot problems prior to them happening.
