Recently I've been receiving some strange links from most of my contacts in Skype, prompting me stuff like:
I've seen your picture on this link or else......
Ok this seems to be some kind of trap as I use my Skype only for professional matters, and the guys on my contact list are trustworthy. I got the chance to confirm it with some of the guys if they have sent this link and of course the answer was :No!
So I'll recommend you to not open this link.
In the case, you have clicked on the link:
A small executable file will be downloaded and if you run it, then you'll be in real trouble as you will be prompted by a pop-up window will appear :
Windows will shut down in less than one minute
Your computer will keep on restarting each time you boot it. Don't even try to run a scan or try to stop process in the Task Manager, it will be of no use.
If you are in this situation, the only solution i'll recommend you is to make a system restore.
Normally if you have recently updated your Windows, a restore point is created at the time of last update.
Boot your computer: Start, type restore in the search bar and the option will be displayed.
Double click on System Restore icon and follow the procedure.
