When using private browsing, Firefox will not retain any browsing history, search, download, Web form, cookies or temporary Internet files. However, files downloaded or bookmarks added will be preserved.
Note that: Although this computer does not keep any record of your browsing history, your ISP or your employer can always find the pages you have visited.
You must launch Firefox and go to Tools and then Start incognito Window.
InPrivate Browsing lets you browse the web without leaving traces within Internet Explorer. This is mostly appreciated when there are several users making use of a single PC, with this option you can ensure minimal privacy.
You can enable InPrivate Browsing from the new page tab or by pressing CTRL + ALT + P.
When you select InPrivate Browsing, Internet Explorer opens a new window. The protection provided by InPrivate Browsing is active only during the period this window is openend. You can open as many tabs as you want in that window. They are all protected by InPrivate browsing. However, if you open another window using IE, it will not be protected by InPrivate browsing. To end your InPrivate Browsing session, close the browser window.
When you surf using InPrivate Browsing, Internet Explorer stores information such as cookies and temporary Internet files for the Web pages you are visiting continue to work properly. However, at the end your InPrivate Browsing session, this information is deleted.
Information: How are they affected by the InPrivate browsing?
Cookies: These are stored in memory,so that pages work properly, but the cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
Temporary Internet Files: These are stored on disk iso that pages work properly, but the cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
History of the Web page: These information is not stored.
Passwords and form data: These information is not stored.
Cache Phishing: The temporary information is encrypted and stored so that pages work properly.
Address bar and AutoComplete for search: This information is not stored.
Automatic recovery after blocking: Automatic recovery after blocking allows for the restoration when a tab is stuck in one session. However, if the window is blocked, the data is removed and the window can not be restored.
Storage of the Document Object Model: Document object model are some kind of "super cookie" that Web developers can use to retain information. They will be treated as normal cookies during InPrivate browsing.
Open Google Chrome then click the small key icon at the top right and New incognito window. (CTRL +Shift +N).
Launch Safari and go to the Safari tab and Private Browsing.
