ESET Nod32 - Unable to update

I am trying to update my Eset nod32 antivirus system but it doesn't respond when I click update it appears to start but then it stops and says "Virus signature could not be updated" and "server not found". Please could anyone tell me what to do?


Nod 32 often does have that type of problem. "Server not found" mean that your computer was not able to connect to Nod's server which may have been offline when you tried.

Also, if you have any other antivirus application running, it may interfere with Nod 32. You should disable it not to say remove it.

I suggest you first clean your all of your temporary internet files and try again. If you don't succeed you may need to uninstall Nod 32 and reinstall it. There is a faq on this forum on how to uninstall Nod32.

To solve this:
Setup -> Enter entire advanced tree... -> Update - > in option 'Update server' -> Choose automatically ' - and you can update straightaway
