Enabling the VGA mode can correct the display when the monitor display is upside down. Graphics cards sometimes have hot keys or a key combination that can rotate the monitor display upside down. Usually there is a graphics option for rotation if the graphics card supports such a feature. Another option is to use the CTRL + ALT + ARROW key of the keyboard to rectify the laptop monitor. However, if the monitor display still remains upside down, the VGA mode has to be enabled. The VGA mode can be enabled from the Windows Advanced Options.
Hello, my monitor display has turned upside down - I've been looking around and lots of people suggest ctrl+alt+arrow but this doesn't work. I also tried to find rotation in the graphics options but it doesn't seem to be there - it's a Toshiba laptop with Windows XP I think. Help!!
When you switch ON your laptop, start tapping the "F8" key to get "Windows Advanced Options" (if the boot menu appears, press "Esc" key and keep tapping the F8 key)
