Hotkeys are a combination of keys giving you quick access to a function within a program. The hotkeys can be disabled by changing the settings in display properties of your laptop computer. A hotkey driver manages the function and assignment of hotkeys. You may face hardware-related issues unless you update your drivers. If your hotkey file is missing then you need to download the hardware driver from the relevant website.
I've recently formatted my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1564 Windows 7-- 64 bit) and when I try to use the function keys it works but doesn't display on the screen - this is because the hotkey file is missing. Can anyone help me find it??
