Nero Express is often the program of choice for those looking to burn or write files to a disc. The program has a very simplified user interface, allowing users to easily create multimedia and data discs. In addition, users can also create and print labels for the disc, rename discs, and even choose to replicate the disc as many times as needed.
How To Burn a Data CD Using Nero Express
If you do not yet have Nero Express installed on your computer, you may download it from the company's official website.
Once installed, insert a blank CD or DVD into your computer. Open Nero Express by clicking Start > All Programs > Nero > Nero 10 > Nero Express.
In the main window (LHS), select Data compilation. In the right pane, select the type of disk you would like to record.
Now go to your Disc Content window, and click the Add button. Select the folders and files you would like to record. You can repeat the process as many times as needed until all folders and files have been selected. When finished with your selection, click on Close.
All the folders and files you have selected will be displayed in the disc content window. You will also be able to note the amount of space available on your disk. Now, click on Next.
In the window labelled Disc Label, you can create a label for your CD or DVD. If you do not want to do so, simply uncheck the Print Label box and click Next.
You will now see the Final Burn Settings. Select your current recorder, which is the drive that contains the blank CD or DVD. Add a disc name.
Select the number of copies you would like to make. Check the data verification feature before clicking on the Burn button to start burning your disc.
