Black screen problem

Hello,

OK help I have a Dell laptop and I can trun it on but screen shows nothing what do I do need fixed asap I have already tryed taking the battery out and holding power button down 30 sec and the plug it in then putting battery back in didn't work so I did the 60 min one still nothing help

Try an external monitor to see if you get a signal.
