Headphone jack only working on one side on laptop

hello,
I have an Asus x55ma. Until very recently everything was fine, but now my headphones aren't playing on one side when plugged into my laptop. I've tried several different pairs; all of which work fine on other devices. I've reinstalled all the appropriate drivers but no luck. It does work if I wriggle it a certain way but thats about it

it would seen that you have defective hardware and the jack needs to be replaced. I suggest a local PC repair shop.
