Deleted emails no longer display in Gmail

Hello,

All of a sudden I have no deleted emails that is in the respective box in my Gmail?

How can I turn on the email so that it keeps deleted in my deleted box
I have been trying to find a solution is=n my setting but no matter what I try I still don't have any deleted file?

I don't have a deleted folder in GMAIL, I have TRASH.

Don't move them to the trash. Then, the server won't "think" the TRASH should be deleted.

The solution is, instead of deleting them, you move them to a..."MAYBE_I_WANT_TO_KEEP_THESE_FOR_WHATEVER_REASON" folder!
