I wondered if you could assist please? I currently have a column of dates that change to a bold red if the date is past. However, I require the date to change back to black if the column to the right of it contains an X. Could you advise what the conditional formatting formula would be for this please? I look forward to getting your answer as I have been working on this spreadsheet for some time now and cannot seem to get it right. Thank you very much.

TraceyLongstaff, Good morning.

Suppose your column of dates is A

Select the range of Column A you want; ex: A1:A25

Try to use this formula at your Conditional Formatting Formula:

=AND(TODAY()>A1, B1<>"x")

OK.

Please, tell us if it worked as you want.
I hope it helps.
