DVD Drive doesn't reading anything

Hello,

My Toshiba Satellite laptop, running windows 10 has stopped reading any and all disks in the DVD drive.

The driver and windows are both up to date and aren't showing any issues or problems, The laser transporter bit is moving freely and correctly, but regardless of the disk type, DVD movie, burnt DVDR or DVDRW or music CD, nothing is playing or reading!

I'm at a loss...please HELP!

Sorry to hear. Hardware fails from time to time. Did the PC come with 10, or was this an UPGRADE?

It's an upgrade but Windows 10 install was nearly 12 months ago. Worked well since then many many times. All drivers and windows are fully up to date
