Hello,

When is the last time you successfully accessed your account? If there is no activity on an account for one year, it is automatically deleted from the server.

Unfortunately, if, when you created the account, you have not registered a secret question which you remember, or an alternate recovery email address or phone number to which you have access to receive a reset code, you cannot prove that you are the account's legitimate owner. Hence account recovery is absolutely impossible and there is no way around it.

Hi Elizabeth,

Count yourself lucky that I was online this evening ! I partly erased your phone number and email address.

You published your phone and address on the web for millions of people to see. In doing so you left yourself open to hacking and harassment.

There is nothing you can do if you created the account on the mobile device or number you no longer have access to.

Always create accounts on a PC or Laptop (landline IP), and then attach a recovery email to it. That way, you can have multiple ways to recover the account!

Furthermore if you have not accessed your Yahoo account for 12 months it is automatically deleted from the server.

Please be careful on the web, there is always all kinds of prowlers looking out for information like you published.

Note that we are CCM, a high-tech forum and we have no business with Yahoo. However we have experience.

Farewell
