Hello,

I broke off the plug in the headphone port .
Can I disable that port so the speakers will play ?

you should download the maintenance manual to find the correct disassembly instructions. It's very important to know which screws to remove and what length screw when you reassemble the case. You should be able to push the broken plug out from the back of the female port.

Good Luck

Thank you for your response .
I've had tthe back off to
add ram and clean the fan .
Both plug housings ( mic & headphone )
were closed in with no access inside
to get to the " broken - off " plug .

Typically these parts will SNAP apart, and back together to accommodate these types of occurrences. Just an FYI.
