I can't get my laptop to turn on, at all ??

Hello,
i can't get my hp laptop to turn on. i have had it for 7 years. its old i know. i can see the light on for charging, but thats it. i tried i few different ways to turn it on but i got nothing, each time. its a HP pavilion DV6-6110us notebook..

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
