My Headphones Suddently Stopped Working

My headphones suddently stopped working while my friend was using it... I am always looking at him when he is using it but after a while, it *suddenly* stopped working
It does not work on my computer/cellphone/and laptop but it is detected and it wont work.

Try another pair of headphones, see if those work.

yup, only the headphones that i described did not work...

Well, I suppose that the headphones you described are defective. Often there is an invisible break in the wiring.

Since I can't see and put my hands on the headphones, I can't tell you if they can be fixed. Where is the break in the wiring ? Can you have a new wire soldered on ? I don't know.

So... i need to remove the rubber casing of the wire?
