Flash drive displays this folder is empty message

Hello,

Even though my drive shows 1.29 GB free of 1.90 GB ,but on opening it the drive displays the message "your folder is empty"
.what do I do ?

Does it show up as empty on ALL devices? Not all of the free space can be used by STORAGE, some of the disk is used by what is known as "overhead".
