Ps3 is connected/server times out

Hello,
I just got my PS3 out again and is all connected to WiFi however won't sign in and either will do anything because the server times out :/
I tried to reset a few things but won't still connect.
Any tips on this?

OK, make certain that the router the PS3 is connecting to is broadcasting on B/G and N bands. The PS3 uses the G band, and the N band uses both the G and the N. If it finds it, but never connects, then the router needs to be switched on for the B/G/and N bands.
