Keypad keys not working

Dear all,
I have a dell latop inspiron i3,with windows 8, office 365
keyboard keys 45
rt
fg
vb
not working. I changed keypad and it worked transiently for 10days . again same keys not working. is it mother board problem or software problem. I installed office365 some time before the problem. can it be the cause.

Hello

I would return to the repair shop where you had the keyboard changed, looks like you still have a circuit issue.

He changed the keyboard, charged you for it and now he wants to change the motherboard, is he competent ? I suggest that get a second opinion from another reliable repair shop.

Changing the motherboard may cost you just as much as a new laptop.
