Hello,

Have a toshiba laptop w windows 7.

When I go to shutdown the computer, it shut's down like it's suppose to, all normal as it shuts down, It shuts down, and then seconds later turns back on. Same with the hibernate, sleep, or even if i hit the power button. The ONLY time the the laptop will stay off is if I hold my power button down for seconds and do a hard turn off.

I haven't touched any power settings recently, have not added any components to the pc lately, nothing.

What could be the issue?

Problem solved.

1.) Did a hard turn off (hold power button down for 4 seconds)
2.) Remove battery for 1 minute
3.) Reconnect battery
4.) Turn back on

In that order. Now the pc shuts down, sleeps, and hibernates without waking back up. All's good.
